Image Comics has announced that Jeff Lemire and Dustin Nguyen will reunite for Crowbound, a dark ongoing fantasy series beginning in March 2026. Today at New York Comic Con, Dynamite Entertainment announced the next phase of the ThunderCats comics. In January, the publisher plans to release ThunderCats Lost in Time, a one-shot from Dynamite Entertainment and Warner Bros. In 1989, author Rick Veitch wrote an issue of Swamp Thing in which the title character was present at the crucifixion of Jesus, but management at the time decided not to publish it. Mr. Veitch wrote the book and the project was never completed until now. At Thursday’s DC Vertigo panel at New York Comic Con, the publisher announced that the story will conclude with a four-issue series called Swamp Thing 1989.
