It’s been another great year for DC Comics. The DC All-In effort continued to provide readers with solid main stories, from continuing series like Superman and Justice League Unlimited that build toward the DC KO event, to new series like Sophie Campbell’s Supergirl, Jeremy Adams and John Timms’ Aquaman, and Matt Fraction and Jorge Jimenez’s Batman, which builds their own corner of the DCU. The Summer of Superman saw the launch of another new super title, Dan Slott and Rafael Albuquerque’s Superman Unlimited, with Mark Waid and Skylar Patridge’s Action Comics exploring the early days of Superboy. We all know that 2025 was a truly incredible year for DC Comics, but just how great? Could it come close to or even surpass Marvel in key metrics? ICV2 provides graphs based on ComicHub POS data from select comic shops, but this is a small sample, and we’re seeing a growing number of public and private complaints about the accuracy of…

With Marvel set to release the Death Spiral storyline next year, it’s safe to say that Marvel is fully committed to the symbiote. Case in point, the creative team of writer Jordan Morris and artists Ramon Rosanas and Luke Ross released the Web of Venom one-shot in April of this year. Marvel readers probably know that a new red and blue Venom suit was recently introduced in Battleworld #3 with the appearance of Earth-8294’s Eddie Parker. The suit reappeared in Venom #252 earlier this month, with Mary Jane donning the costume as the all-new Venom. In this Web of Venom…
