Manga Mirai is a digital manga platform launched earlier this year by NTT Docomo in a partnership with MyanimeList, Akatsuki Group and Media Do, and is expanding its library with the addition of Viz Media titles. As of June 24th, Manga Mirai had begun to unveil a volume of English-translated manga from the North American publishing giants of about 4,000 people.

The new lineup includes fan favorite classics like One Piece and Naruto, as well as recent hits like Demon Slayer: Kimetz No Yaiba, Jiu-Jitsu Kaizen, Furien: Journey End, Call of the Night, and Komi can’t communicate. Uzumaki and Comi will not be able to communicate on the platform from July 1st.

To celebrate the launch, Manga Mirai will be running a “Animated” campaign from July 1st to 31st, offering 50% off on hand-picked titles. The discount series is as follows:

With the Viz Media title included, Manga Mirai catalogue is expected to grow to approximately 20,000 volumes by August 2025.

The platform is also preparing to make its first appearance at Anime Expo 2025, which will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center from July 3rd to 6th. Fans can visit Manga Mirai’s booth (WF6, West Hall Lobby) to experience the service firsthand and participate in a variety of activities including:

Manga Corner: Read free printed manga books, including favorites adapted to anime.

Experience Station: Try Mirai onsite using the iPad provided.

Photo Spot: A manga-themed photo booth perfect for cosplayers and social media posts.

Gacha Machine: Earn exclusive products by signing up for an account or completing other eligible actions.

Exclusive Gift: Buy the Manga Mirai title and receive a limited edition character merchandise (supplement continues).

Fans who are unable to attend can follow the action online via Mangamirai.com and @mangamirai_en on X (formerly Twitter).
