Superman Unlimited #2 Review

Superman Unlimited aims to change the status quo of Superman from the jump. In particular, it aims to provide the world’s criminals with the edge that needs to be taken from Superman by landing on Earth. But the steel guy has an amazing ace on his sleeve. It’s a new power that gives him an edge over Kryptonite. In a world where everyone can weaponize Kryptonite, what does that mean for Superman and his family?

Dan Slot continues to plot developments that changed Superman’s life. He not only has a new superpower, but he also has new obligations as Clark Kent. Daily Planet is expanding around the world. That is, almost every location in the DC Universe has its own branches. Gotham City has a planet. Marcovia has a planet (also known as the House of Geoforce). The idea of the intelligent ape race that even has a planet in the city of Gorilla and runs the newspaper is like nuts that you can only get in cartoons. It doesn’t even make it into the fact that there is a real country made of kryptonite (I’ll go into it more in detail later).

This also speaks to why Clark Kent’s work as a journalist is important. In one scene where Jack Rider, better known as the Creeper, interviews someone who claims the goat has been mutated by Kryptonite. Please enter Clark. Clark immediately checks the story and drills enough holes to deflate it. This is a great example of what a reporter’s job should be, showing that Slot is willing to be willing to address every aspect of Clark’s life. That’s good because I always felt that the best Superman story had a balance between Superman and Clark Kent.

DC

Superman Unlimited #2 sings thanks to the artwork of Rafael Albukerque. The latter is established early to see a series of daily planetary gloves being built throughout the city. Whether it’s the shadows of Gotham or the lush vegetation surrounding the city of Gorilla, they quickly stand out. Superman himself remains a big draw, especially when he is tall in the face of robberies and talking to Batman at the Justice League watchtower. In contrast, in the scene featuring Creeper, he jumps and moves with inhumane agility, but remains flipped over while standing still.

Colorist Marcelo Maiolo has penetrated almost every page green, representing how kryptonite spreads into the DC universe. It is found in the lush armor of “Cryptonite,” the defender of the El Cardero nation where the Kryptonite meteor landed. From knives to bullets to Cryptonite Knuckles, what is currently in the hands of robbers is in the weapons. And it’s even on Creeper’s skin… not to mention what he says.

Superman Unlimited #2 continues to shake up the world of Superman. Whether it is a new force or a new threat to a lush world with Kryptonite. It also teases the reappearance of the classic Superman enemy. He will likely prove to be an unexpected threat to the Steel Man.

“Superman Unlimited” #2 presents new powers and new threats to Man of Steel

Superman Unlimited #2

Superman Unlimited #2 continues to shake up the world of Superman. Whether it is a new force or a new threat to a lush world with Kryptonite. It also teases the reappearance of the classic Superman enemy. He will likely prove to be an unexpected threat to the Steel Man.

The DC Universe makes you feel as vast as you would expect.

Slot is willing to work on every element of Superman’s life.

Alburquarque’s artwork lures between action packs and adoring inspiration, giving classic Superman enemies a redesign.

Superman’s new powers are certainly divisive.
