On June 10th, Dark Horse will release the final graphic novel from the final Great Richard Coven: Dimwood. Today, Beat can reveal an exclusive preview from the special edition hardcover. It features illustrations restored by Jose Viralvia and re-written by Nate Piecos. In addition to the main story previously unpublished, the book also includes bonus materials, dust jackets and an introduction by Joe Landsdale.
Dimwood follows a young woman named Xera. After she’s been away for years, when she returns to Dimwood Mansion, she begins to draw about the connection between loss, murder, and the gaps in her memory.

Dimwood is the latest release of Dark Horse’s Richard Corben Library, and celebrates the late creator’s work with a re-release of a special edition restored and updated for fans both new and old. Dark Horse has previously published all five volumes of Den, Rowlf, and other fantasy stories, as well as Murky World.
Dimwood will be available in all locations for sale on June 10th and in local comic shops on June 11th.
