Oni Press’ first Rick and Morty event comic, Rick and Morty vs. The Universe, is currently halfway through, but Beat is able to exclusively reveal the next series of his infamous grandfather and grandchildren Rick and Morty: Publisher for the End. Writers Daniel Kibblesmith and Jarrett Williams reunite in a six-part follow-up.

Oni adds that the title is “not a kind of artistic metaphor,” suggesting that the series is very likely to be the publisher’s last Rick and Morty comic. Since 2015, the company has released a large number of Rick and Morty series. The television show, which premiered in 2013, ended its eighth season on July 27, 2025, and is a spin-off centered around President Curtis, currently working on it, and is clearly continuing to grow stronger without an end.
The first issue will be released on December 3rd and will be covered by Dave Valdin (Wolverine), Troy Little (Rum’s Cult), Tom Fowler (The Magic Book).
