Today, Marvel Comics revealed a new one-shot, a preview page and variant cover for 2099’s fate, on July 23rd. The one-shot announced in April was by Frank Thierri, Delio Diaz and Frank Alpizzer.
“Look, I’ve been widely known throughout my career as the ‘villain man’. When Marvel approached me the event, I wasn’t two of the biggest villains of all time, well… as they say, it was an offer I couldn’t refuse,” Thierry shared. “And not only are you getting ‘Double the Doom’ with this one shot, but kids…” 2099 is taking even the future to odds.

The world is destiny… but does it include a world that is not yet? A coalition from the future, including the old men Logan, Rachel Summers and Phoenix.
