Dark Horse Comics has announced Captain Henry and The Grave Yard of Time. This is the new No. 4 miniseries of Hellboy creator Mike Mignora and writer/artist Bruce Zic (The Mighty Thor, Atomic Legion).
Released on October 22, 2025, the series expands the Hellboy universe with a bold new twist: Victorian-era time travel.
Mignola and Zic co-wrote Zic’s art, and Clem Robbins’ letters began in England in the 1880s. There, the Whittier family and Edward Gray try to save a trapped spirit, but their experiments catapult Captain Henry into unknown territory where eras, monsters and madness collide. Expect haunted polar bears, ghostly realms, and appearances from the familiar Hellboy’s face, including Hellboy himself.
Zick calls the series “a realm of monsters, ghosts, and the horrifying time king nightmares,” while Mignora describes it as “Victorian science fiction with bubble helmets, heavy rivets, and dangers.”
