Local publisher Magma Comix is returning to San Diego Comic Con, featuring an All-Star lineup, exclusiveness, mystery box and signature opportunities. A roster of magma teams and talented comic book creators can be found at booth #1709.
Magma will be holding a panel on Thursday night. There, the creators look back at the first years of independent publishers, from pedestrians nominated for the Best New Series to horror titles such as the Principles of Necromancy, Day of the Dead Girls, and the Magical Realism of Scale Trade.

Magma Comics has brought exciting passion projects from a wide range of creators to the comic market over the past year. Meet the mind behind magma’s thrilling titles, including AJ Mendez (Day of the Dead Girl), Joey Esposito, Sean von Gorman (The Peredestrian), Megan Huang (Scale Trade), and Eamon Winkle (The Principles of Necomsanity). Magma staff will guide the discussion as they create a course for the final presentation of the panel!
There is a daily schedule of events, including signatures by Magma Creators Esposito, Von Gorman, Mendes, Cavan Scott (The Night of the Thrashers), Jackson Landz, Colin Kelly, Winkle, Juan and Denton J. Tipton (Hell Half Acre).
