Friedman said, “‘Stimulus’ is a collection of pure passion and experimentation that I’ve been collecting for almost a decade, largely because of the purpose of collaborating with some of the world’s best illustrators. I’m thrilled that readers can finally get their hands on it.” Friedman, a writer, film editor, director and former colorist from Los Angeles, has released all of his comics through Dark Horse since 2020’s Raiders (produced with Birdsong artist CROM). He previously worked with Summelin on Cali and Tom Coker on the Image series Undying Love.
Stimulus is a 184-page paperback that retails for $22.99 and is available for pre-order now at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, or your local bookstore/comic shop. It will be available in bookstores on April 28, 2026, and in comic shops the next day. Meanwhile, Friedman’s next book, The Witcher: Blood Stone #1 (of four volumes), will be released by Dark Horse on January 28th.
