Image credit: Dynamite Entertainment Initially thought to be an anthology series about one-off missions from the post-Judgment Day future into the past, Declan Shalvey’s Terminator comic book series was revealed by issue #8 to be telling a much more connected story. That was cleverly done, but where is the story arc of the last three issues now? So why not go straight to Judgment Day itself? It depicts an attack on the Cyberdyne system by a group of human soldiers who have been gathering numbers and planning the attack for a year. What they didn’t realize was that the T-800…

black arms that support you Cartoonist: Ben PassmorePublisher: Pantheon Graphic LibraryPublication date: October 2025 Review by Ian Thomas Black history produced for mainstream audiences (e.g., published on mainstream or widely distributed channels) tends to omit the hiccups, false starts, hypocrisies and incongruities inherent in the movements they seek to portray, thereby stripping black history of its character and essence. The reasons for this are probably too complex to explain in such a short review, but include the concepts of safety, respectability, and of course marketability. After all, a book on a subject that might not otherwise reach an audience is…
