The digital comic world is once again heating up with the announcement that InkyPen, an all-you-can-read service centered on distribution via game platforms, will debut on Steam on November 18th. This move has been teased in the past, but no release date was announced. Subscriptions for all platforms are $7.99 or local equivalent. InkyPen, a small technology company based in Norway, sells comics on its website and on the Nintendo Switch platform, partnering with publishers such as Dark Horse, IDW, Kodansha, and Dynamite. A month after acquiring the license for Hasbro’s Jem and the Holograms, BOOM! Studios has revealed that it has also acquired the comic rights to My Little Pony. For me, horror comics are something I work on all year round.
