We at The Beat sat down with Formisano at Thought Bubble Comics Art Festival 2025 to discuss his experience working on the book, his artistic aspirations and inspirations, and the creation of unique, modern comics. Next week’s Avengers #34 marks the title’s milestone 800th issue since its release in the 1960s. It’s being made in a big way by bringing back legendary Avengers screenwriter Brian Michael Bendis and his longtime collaborator Mark Bagley in backup roles. Very industrial culture concert poster. So Man’s Ruin fans take note as well as SLG heads. Super messed up, but with heart. Even vaguely (super) heroic? Very small…
