There’s nothing like a story that builds a wonderful world. A story in which every detail of the world feels concrete and attractive, and is invited to lose yourself on the panel and make you forget the real world around you for a short time. Valiant Beyond: Tales of the Shadowman #1 is written by AJ Ampadu as art by Sergio Monjes, and it is world-building at that level. It presents a new version of Shadowman that will instantly captivate you as part of the “Valiant Beyond” initiative from Valiant Comics and Alien Books. The issue of this premiere is…

There are many corporate partnerships out there, but to this day there are not many comics and hot sauces working together. Jade City Foods and IDW are partnering with a series of hot sauces under the tree where you can’t see art or theme. Hot Suite matches the release under the tree that no one sees: Rite of Spring #1 has begun a follow-up to the acclaimed series. Not for the timid people, these hot sauces lean on murder like the head of class sauce. Other sauces include “Saw Blade Special”, “Don’t Bear Your Head”, “Just Another Day in the…
Ghost Rider is more dangerous than ever, returning to Spirits of Violence, a new five-island limited series to be released in October this year by author Sabir Pilzada (Spirits of Vengeance) and artist Paul Davidson (Namor, X-Force). This supernatural saga of high octane brings together all the major Ghost Riders, including Johnny Blaze, Danny Ketch, Kushara, Helberin, Robbie Reyes (who ultimately makes his return), and newcomer Fantasma. With the lives of their loved ones on the line, riders must unite like never before. Pilzada reveals that the spirit of violence is nothing more than Barbara Ketch (Danny’s sister), who has…
It’s not the superhero movies of July this year, or July this year. Marvel Studios has tried his hand in the Fantastic Four movies of Matt Shakman’s Fantastic Four: First Steps Out Out Out and is taking part in the game at the end of the month. The trailer looks interesting to me. Their medieval retro future aesthetic reminded me a bit before the nuclear bombs fell on fallout. I think it’s a wise decision to make Fantastic Four an outdated piece. Even if it raises questions about their location in the wider MCU. They seem to draw inspiration from…

It’s been over three years since the first season aired, and as they say, “Good things come to those who are waiting.” Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 And everything he does as co-head of DC Studios is very noteworthy that he found time to fit Seamaker’s second season into his schedule. Among the many highlights of the first season was the viral opening title sequence set to tuning Wig Wham. The sequence is still visible. This set had to be limited to only…

Why does the promotional art for the first step of Fantastic Four look so strange? The film is clearly trying to set a retro vibe, so some of the clumsiness is intentional, but some of it is really weird. When I saw this official Marvel promotion come out of the cover of a mock magazine, I thought it was a staple of all superhero movies. Some versions have no type. There are many mistakes in this. Putting aside what’s going on in Johnny’s pants, the blatant return of this broken, broken pose is extremely shocking. As we don’t forget, the…
