The new 56-page special comes from Caroline Cash (Pee Pee Poopu), featuring a couple, and features other characters such as the lumpy Space Princess! Check out the preview below. It’s… time in the alternative universe! Experience all the fun of this gigantic epic university starring this gigantic epic boobble gum and Marceline from the heart of Eisner Award-winning cartoonist Caroline Cash (Pee Pee Pee…

According to an official press release, the winners will be recognized at San Diego Comic Con International 2025. The ritual master will be Phil Lamar (Static Shock, Justice League), and the keynote speaker will be Brandon Easton (Iyanu: Wonder of Wonder). Please look forward to the details of the 10th Annual Dwayne McDuffie Awards ceremony to be released later this week when the full SDCC programming is announced. New York Times bestselling author and Superman specialist Mark Waid has joined the selection committee of prominent comic…
If you’ve ever heard this, stop me: seemingly ordinary teenagers learn that they have immense power before they are driven away by a world like them, like them, to hone their new abilities and save the world. But what if this child is the cause of destruction instead of salvation? That’s the question David Marquez asks in The Unchosen #1, a series owned by his creators. This focuses on dealing with everything that is hard to master her gifts and downplays her, from those who try to kill her to her fellow sorcerers. Marquez is the definition of a “nova.”…
Without a creep show it’s not Halloween. This October, the cold weather is Creepshow Vol. 4#2, drops in time for the creepy season on October 22, 2025. Published by Skybound and Image Comics and inspired by Greg Niccotero’s hit Shudder series, The Fan-Favorite Horror Anthology is back to another terrible help of horror. This issue has attracted some killer creative talent. Rising comic writer Rachel Pinneras (I know you had your last crisis) teamed up with famous artist Gabriel Walta (Vision) for a nightmare fuel science experiment. Meanwhile, horror icon Ted Raimi joins forces with Thomas Krajewski and Ryan Kerr…
Purchased on July 9th, this week’s top comics have one of my favorite books, with new #1 and comics returning with a new miniseries. The book is under a tree that no one sees: the ritual of Spring #1, and I was really blown away by it. I’ll review it in a complete comic column tomorrow Wednesday. I’ll explain in detail why I liked it so much. But this isn’t: if you like the first series, this is definitely something you should read. Elsewhere, this week there will be a powerful new Batman and Superman comic, a huge swing from…
On all accounts, the 1997 sci-fi horror film event Horizon was a critically and commercially certified flop. Despite the lack of initial stellar receptions, over the years the film has earned greater new appreciation for cult supporters and several scenes cut from the final version that ultimately tightened the original vision of the filmmakers. Sadly, much of the footage that was cut off has been lost, which has taken fans out of seeing the fully restored version. Thankfully, IDW Publishing has become a highly satisfying fan demand with the Parish’s creative team, artist Tristan Jones and the first official prequel…
TMNT I’ll be back this week on Tuesday. There is a special edition with first thoughts and a preview of teenage mutant ninja turtles #10. Next week (July 16th), the questions will be in order, with half of which unfolding as courtroom dramas. With a pre-copy in hand, you can safely say that this is a must-read for anyone following since #1. The Ninja Turtles realize that when they fight together they become stronger, so the story becomes a complete circle. As we approach the end of the story arc, it is clear that these sibling troubles are beginning to…
Another review of Transformers from Howdy Fawkes, Kruker, Daniel Warren Johnson and Jorge Corona Skybound is here again. This is problem #22, and I’m in a hurry, but it’s already an instant classic. There are only two issues, from the ending to this epic award-winning saga, so let’s dig into what we have this month and have fun. What a problem. Man, what a problem. I think this is closest to rekindling that initial spark at the excitement and satisfaction level of the human and robot drama that characterized the opening arc. If there was one thing I missed in…
The backstory of Ada vampire is revealed in Blood Type #2 written by Andrea Sorrentino’s Art and Dave Stewart’s Colors and Art and Corinna Bechko. She reveals her past to humans who call hostages/food sources, simply “beasts”, but the beast may have his own secret to reveal. Ada continues to be a refreshing, disorderly character. She is a creature of pure habits, and her habits kill and feed her. Everything else is secondary. The only reason she keeps the beast alive is that his blood has a very good taste for it. Author Corina Vechko loves not pointing Ada to…
Toxie’s team up should be one of the strangest cartoons produced over the years. Today we are the first to see the cover and story details of issue 3! In the first issue (June 11), Toxy collaborated with Jesus Christ (from Russell and Pace’s controversial second coming page) – In the second issue on July 16th, Toxy and Jersey Devil (Creature-filled Anthology Project: cryptid:cryptid). Future issues include Dragonflyman and Stinger (from Tom Peyer and Jamal Igle’s multi-Vishiversal Saga The Forne Earth) and Swamp Cop and Schitt (Bors’ and Ben Clarkson’s satirical smash from Justice Warriors). But problem #3 features the…
