We gave this robot vacuum great praise in our official review, calling it “the ideal robot vacuum and mop.” Its vacuuming performance is top-notch, capable of picking up even the toughest cat hair, and it has great obstacle detection so you won’t get tripped up by an actual cat. It has great battery life, a well-designed base, and is easy to use and empty.
The j9+ also made it onto our list of the best robot vacuums, taking home the award for best combo model because its mopping capabilities are almost as sophisticated as its vacuuming capabilities. It does struggle with super sticky stains, however, but is fine with maintaining regular floors.
The only drawback to this device is its price: It’s hard to recommend a $1,400 vacuum, even if it saves you a ton of time, but not at $780.
