Available to back on Kickstarter, comic fans can get their hands on volumes 1 and 2 of The Golem of Venice Beach, a comic that features art by Frank Quitely, David Mack, Jae Lee, Howard Chaykin, Stan Sakai, Dean Haspiel, Juan Jose Ryp, Nick Dragotta, and Das Pastoras.

“Picking up immediately after the cliffhanger of Book 1, Golem of Venice Beach: Book 2 finds Adam the Golem caught in the middle of a gang war while trying to protect two runaway teens,” said writer and creator Chanan Beizer. “To make matters worse, Jake finds himself under the watch of those very same gang members while his uncle Steph tries to mend the rift between Adam and Jake. Things come to a head when Stephan is kidnapped. Adam and Jake must save him, but first Jake must find a way to put Adam back together and repair the Golem that’s been part of his family’s legacy for over 400 years.”

The Golem of Venice Beach: Volume 2 is a 184-page oversized deluxe hardcover that includes:

A thrilling wraparound cover by renowned Scottish illustrator Frank Quitely (New X-Men, All-Star Superman, Batman & Robin) perfect for framing

A four-page flashback sequence that completes the emotive depiction of the Golem’s resurrection during World War II, begun in Volume 1 by Jay Lee (Seven Sons, Batman/Superman) and colorist June Chang.

A unique six-page vision quest sequence of existential exploration by David Mack (Daredevil, The New Avengers)

Spanish artist Das Pastoras (The Metabarons) pays homage to the iconic Sal Buscema pinup from the groundbreaking 1973 film, Avengers: Defenders War.

A 9-page Golem bonus story combining the talents of Brooklyn-based Emmy Award winner Dean Haspiel (Covid Cop), critically acclaimed Juan Jose Lip (Frank Miller’s RoboCop), best-selling artist Nick Dragotta (X-Statix), comics legend Howard Chaykin (American Flagg), and superstar Stan Sakai (Usagi Yojimbo).

This Kickstarter exclusive print is 8 x 10 inches and ready to frame and hang on your wall. It features work from the ten artists who contributed to Volume 2.

All seven prints by artists in Book 1: Michael Allred, Stephen R. Bissett, Vanessa Cardinali, Jay Lee, Nick Pitala, Paul Pope, and Bill Sienkiewicz.

Kickstarter exclusive hardcover with a unique signature plaque signed by Quitely.
