The Apple Watch Ultra 2 is now cheaper than ever, well below Prime Day pricing. The company’s premium smartwatch is available on Amazon for $689, a savings of $110.
This is Apple’s latest and greatest (for now) ultra-premium smartwatch, and it features the company’s double-tap feature, which lets users quickly pinch in the air to bring up and adjust the home screen.

This high-end watch is designed for serious athletes and those with special fitness tracking needs, so the sensor is accurate and the exterior is surprisingly durable. It has the same 49mm form factor as the original, so it’s not too chunky. The screen is much brighter than the OG Ultra, up to 3,000 nits, which should make it easier to read in low light, another plus for extreme athletes who train early in the morning.
As for power, the smartwatch is equipped with Apple’s new S9 chip, which brings the aforementioned double-tap gesture controls and upgraded Siri functionality. The battery can last up to 72 hours on a single charge if in low-power mode; otherwise, it will die out after about 36 hours.
This is a pretty good smartwatch. Not only is it twice the price of the Apple Watch 9, but it’s packed with features that most people won’t need. This is a machine for serious fitness enthusiasts or those who spend long periods off the grid. That being said, today’s sale makes this a very attractive product for us regular folks.
