Comic Watchers Episode 231: Declan Shavley and Luke Sparrow open up new horizons for the Terminator saga

Acclaimed creator Declan Shalvey (Thundercats, Old Dogs) returns to the present day with his new blockbuster Dynamite series, teaming up with up-and-coming artist Luke Sparrow (Star Trek) to tell an all-new tale of Skynet and its nearly unstoppable army of mechanical assassins.

Though its plot to kill Sarah Connor and her son John failed this October, genocidal Skynet still has options. It still has a few more paths back to the past to destroy the human resistance that is crushing the processors into silicon shards. Skynet just needs to expand its reach.

To open new fronts in the war, Terminators are deployed to all corners of the globe, targeting current resistance fighters, their ancestors, and anyone unfortunate enough to be in the attack zone. None of these secondary missions are as simple as the original T-800 or T-1000 missions, but time is literally on the machine’s side. When the entirety of history becomes the battlefield, no place is safe, ever.

Series writer Declan Shalvey and artist Luke Sparrow will appear on the show to talk about Dynamite Entertainment’s new Terminator series.

The Terminator is due to be released this October. To find out more about Declan and Luke, follow the links below:
