Image/Ghost Machine is pleased to present the first look at the upcoming Hyde Street from legendary writer Geoff Johns (Geiger, Rook: Exodus) and artist Ivan Reis (Avengers Icons: The Vision). The longtime collaboration between the two has produced iconic titles such as Blackest Night: Green Lantern and Aquaman prior to Ghost Machine, with colors by Brad Anderson, inks by Danny Miki and lettering by Rob Leigh. This thrilling new horror series was first announced at FanExpo Denver and will launch in October, just in time for Halloween.
In any city or town, country road or off the main road, one wrong soul and you might end up in Hyde Street. But be careful who you talk to and what you do, because as a result, death itself will seem like an easy escape. There are many characters to meet, including Mr. X-Ray, the World’s Most Dangerous Scout, Miss Goodbody and many more… to delight, scare and say goodnight to everyone. What is their and Hyde Street’s secret? For now, only they know.
Ghost Machine’s groundbreaking creator collective launched at New York Comic Con in October 2023. Ghost Machine recently bolstered its already formidable roster of creators with renowned inkers Andrew Currie and Danny Miki, who signed an exclusive deal with designer Steve Blackwell to lead the company’s publication design. Earlier this year, Brian Cunningham was named Ghost Machine’s first Editor-in-Chief.
The company also launched the Ghost Machine Scholarship Program in June this year in collaboration with the renowned Joe Kubert School, with the aim of nurturing the superstar creators of tomorrow.
