“Half-Jinx,” a teenage halfling prank known to local panicky folk, is a role-playing game that’s fun for the whole family.
Halfjinks is a game inspired by and built around the Mausritter rules, and using third-party licenses, in which players take on the role of halfling children trying to cause mischief in their local community.
They venture out to stir up a little trouble (“But it’s not too far! We’ve got to be back in time for dinner!”), hiding a live chicken at the post office, stealing a treat at the annual pie-eating contest, exploring Old Whipplebottom’s farm where the tomb of a dragon slayer is said to be hidden, and generally trying to bring a little fun to the tedium that fills the villagers’ lives.
But such an intrepid explorer needs proper food, and without a sturdy staff and some ready-to-eat snacks, a halfling’s comfort level will be greatly reduced and he may become bored or hungry and decide it’s best to return home.
