Jenny LeClue has been released on the iOS App Store. It was previously exclusive to Apple Arcade, but after a successful and popular funding campaign on Kickstarter, we hope to see this engaging detective game released on other stores.
The quirky detective game Jenny LeClue – Detectivu is now available on the iOS App Store. You may remember that the Kickstarter hit first appeared on Apple Arcade after a successful campaign in 2019. However, it looks like the game will now be available elsewhere after being removed from Apple’s subscription service.
The idea of a teenage detective solving mysteries may sound cutesy and childish, but Jenny LeClues is anything but. Whether it’s the somber atmosphere, the choice-driven storyline, or the fact that Jenny is trying to forgive her mother for her murder, this is far from Nancy Drew.
Still, it’s clear why Jenny LeClues has garnered such a following: with innovative mechanics like looking around for clues to guide your conversation while talking to other characters, and a meta-narrative of stories within stories told by author Arthur K. Finkelstein, Jenny LeClues is sure to captivate you.

As an Android gamer, I’ve always had a bit of mixed feelings about the Apple Arcade service. While there are a variety of great titles that would certainly thrive by being featured on Apple Arcade, it also means that they’re sometimes unavailable to a wider gaming audience.
It’s definitely an attention-grabber, so hopefully we’ll see Jenny Leclue come to other mobile platforms in the near future.
