Editor-in-Chief: Reporting to the Editor-in-Chief, the Editor-in-Chief primarily oversees the project management, scheduling, communications, and organization necessary to ensure that the Company’s publishing projects are completed on time and in accordance with the Company’s high standards, across both Vault Comic and AETHON: Vault book series, as described below. The Editor-in-Chief will also work with the Editor-in-Chief and other members of the editorial department to support the curation and title acquisition of books in the Vault Comics series. In addition, the Editor-in-Chief works with the company’s sales and marketing department and design and production department to promote design, production, and sales success. Along with other members of the editorial department, the editor-in-chief also helps create important metadata for a publication. Candidates should have extensive professional experience in managing and organizing creative projects. Preference may be given to candidates with success in managing or coordinating comics, graphic novels, books, and/or crowdfunding projects. As mentioned above, the editor-in-chief’s responsibilities are primarily project management and related communications, and the editor-in-chief should expect to do less creative development and creative editorial work than other editorial roles. The role of Editor-in-Chief is a mid-level, full-time, paid, fully remote position with great potential for career advancement. Associate Editor: The Associate Editor reports to the Editor-in-Chief and supports or leads the editing of publications assigned by the Editor-in-Chief. I mainly edit books in the Vault Comics series, and secondarily in the AETHON: Vault series (more on the imprint later). Project-level editorial responsibilities include editorial review and oversight of creative development and execution, team building, internal and external communications, and coordination with other members of the editorial department to ensure projects are completed on time and to the company’s high standards. Associate Editors may also be assigned special projects that are outside the typical scope of Vault Comics or the AETHON: Vault book series. Associate Editors spend a lot of time communicating with the creative team to facilitate the development of the best possible publication. Therefore, clear, focused, and co-worker communication skills are paramount for this position. The Associate Editor will also work with the Design and Production department to drive successful design and production outcomes, as well as team building and talent sourcing. The Associate Editor will also work with the Editor-in-Chief and other members of the editorial department to support the curation and title acquisition of books in the Vault Comics series. Along with other members of the editorial department, the associate editor also helps create important metadata for a publication. Candidates should have extensive professional experience in comics and graphic novel editing and be well versed in the professional pool of talent working in the comics and graphic novel category. Preference may be given to candidates with success in managing or coordinating crowdfunding projects. The Associate Editor role is an intermediate-level, full-time, paid, fully remote position with great potential for career advancement. This is a highly demanding position and only highly motivated candidates should apply. Crowdfunding Director: Reporting to the CEO, the Crowdfunding Director will lead all aspects of crowdfunding campaigns across the Vault Comic and AETHON: Vault book series (imprints described below). The Crowdfunding Director will lead all campaign-related creative development, project management, scheduling, communications, coordination with internal sales and marketing departments and external sales and marketing contractors, and other organizations necessary to ensure successful funding and execution of all crowdfunding campaigns. Compensation will be a combination of fixed and contingent rewards based on campaign performance. Crowdfunding projects are selected by senior leaders from existing projects in development. In addition to this, the Crowdfunding Director will also have the opportunity to develop and present additional opportunities and special projects to senior management. The Crowdfunding Director works with editorial, design and production, and sales and marketing departments to drive the success of crowdfunding campaigns. Candidates must have demonstrated success managing or working on impactful crowdfunding campaigns that deliver great products. The Crowdfunding Director role is a mid-level, full-time, salaried, fully remote position with great career advancement potential. This is a highly demanding position and only highly motivated candidates should apply. Salary: $65,000+
