Top Comics to Buy on November 26, 2025: Thank You for These Books

The top comics to buy this week, November 26, combine mainstream hits (there are two Batman books) with difficult and fascinating indie comics that blend elements from black history to video games to dating. I often say this, but the more varied a week is, the more I tend to enjoy it. And guys, this is a good one.

Along with the usual list of releases, below are my top 5 recommended weekly comics… Enjoy!

Top comics to buy on November 26, 2025

Absolute Batman #14
Screenplay: Scott Snyder
Artist: Nick Dragotta
Colorist: Frank Martin
Author: Clayton Cowles
Publisher: DC Comics
Batman and Catwoman face off against Bane in the final battle! But once the dust settles, what does that mean for Batman’s future?
Why it’s cool: Absolute Batman brings its second major story arc to a thunderous end this week, with its titular hero having trouble dealing with the borderline Kaiju Bane. It’s dangerous, over-the-top, and sets up many more stories to come. In other words, that’s everything that made Absolute Batman a megahit.
Price: $4.99

Ancestor Memories #4
Screenplay: Jordan Clarke
Artist: Atagun Ilhan
Colorist: Pippa Bowland
Author: Rob Steen
Publisher: Ahoi! Manga
This is the second to last question! With the help of his “ancestors” in black history, Melvin finally finds his wife, June. But even with Melvin’s mysterious powers, will they be able to escape from the corporation’s futuristic headquarters?
Why it’s cool: I’ve enjoyed every issue of this series, but this might be my favorite so far. The series combines high-concept sci-fi elements with a sweet love story that unfolds over time. I love sweet love stories that unfold over time. I can’t wait for the finale of this book.
Price: $4.99

Batman/Green Arrow/The Question: Arcadia #1
Writer/Artist: Gabriel Hardman
Colorist: Romulo Fajardo Jr.
Author: Simon Bowland
Publisher: DC Comics – Black Label
From the decaying husk of Hub City, Vic Sage secretly digs deep into the evidence of a human trafficking operation in the frozen Arctic. Banished from his company’s leadership, Green Arrow Oliver Queen must rebuild his crumbling life… But what involvement does Queen Industries have in a mysterious project called Arcadia? This question compels Green Arrow to join him on a journey to find answers… but one obstacle stands in his way. It’s Batman.
Why it’s cool: This is one of the great Black Label series that takes the complexity of storytelling and characterization to a point where it really stands out. There’s also a grandeur to the scope of this film, and a story ambition worthy of incorporating not one, not two, but three DC superheroes. Plus, Gabriel Hardman’s art is worth the price of admission alone. We’ll talk more about this in tomorrow’s DC Roundup column.
Price: $5.99

Cemetery Kids Run Rabbit #4
Screenplay: Zach Thompson
Artist: Daniel Irizarry
Colorist: Brittany Peer
Letterer: andworld design
Publisher: Onipress
Gameplay warps reality at the end, and families and friendships are irrevocably changed forever! Endgame has arrived. When the truth is revealed, souls disappear and tears flow. As the Cemetery Kids follow the possessed Pick to the final level of The Blighted Sprawl, the gang discovers that victory comes at a heavy price.
Why it’s cool: This is one of the darkest takes I’ve ever read on how video games (and perhaps games in general) permeate dangerously into real life, and it takes a literal approach to it. But that’s why it works so well for me. I’m not afraid to go dark and get even darker. It’s certainly a book that keeps me on my toes, and I really liked the setting up for another story ending that happens at the end of this issue.
Price: $4.99

aura! #4
Screenplay: John Lees
Artist: Sally Cantilino
Colorist: Dearbhla Kelly
Author: Lucas Gattoni
Publisher: Mad Cave Studios
After the tragic events of Halloween, Aura is in freefall and has never felt so alone. Fully accepting the brutal mission, she sets her revenge on Moby Dick. Abominable manosphere influencer Rick Holler’s speaking tour has arrived in Seattle. If one horrible man is so toxic that the world would be visibly a better place if he were eaten by Ick, would it be worth the sacrifice? Meanwhile, Gwyn has some secrets of his own.
Why it’s cool: Aura! #4 was a very easy choice as the top comic to buy this week on November 26th. I love this series, and I love it even more after Aura’s gruesome plot twist. #3, and I’m happy to report that I’m enjoying it even more as the plot continues to unfold. This issue is spent (appropriately) dealing with the fallout from last month before giving readers more twists on what’s really going on here. This is truly the highest quality manga creation in this book. Don’t miss it.
Price: $4.99
