After announcing the lineup of revived Vertigo titles during New York Comic Con, DC announced release details and solicited information and preview art for the first wave of titles coming this February.

Learn more about Vertigo’s new era below.

Lovely house by the sea #7 — Release date 2/4/26

Written by James Tynion IV Art and cover: Álvaro Martinez Bueno Variant cover: Max Fiumara, Javier Rodriguez, Cliff Chan Connecting variant cover: Álvaro Martínez Bueno $3.99 US | 40 pages | Variations $4.99 US (cardstock)

James Tynion IV and Álvaro Martínez Bueno return to Apocalypse!

The residents of both the lake house and the beach house were told the same thing. That they are the only humans to survive a global apocalypse. But while Walter, the lake house’s mysterious and seemingly omnipotent alien master, chose to save the people he had fallen in love with, the beach house was assembled by his kind, Max, and she chose the most talented and competitive humans. They just learned that the only way to survive is to kill all the lovable losers at the lake house…and they know exactly how. What’s worse? Someone at the lake house agreed to help them…

The Nice House series has won multiple Eisner Awards and won the prestigious Best New Series award at the Angoulême International Comics Festival. Now’s the time to join in, as the action picks up steam and the horrors within the pages get even more grotesque.

Bleeding Hearts #1 — Release date 2/11/26

By Deniz Camp, cover by Stipan Molian Variant cover by Jay Lee, Nick Dragotta, Chris Bachalo Connecting variant cover by Álvaro Martínez Bueno Foil variant cover by Stipan Molian $3.99 US | 40 pages | Variant $4.99 US (cardstock)

Absolute Martian Manhunter’s passionate author, Deniz Camp, teams up with breakout artist Sttipan Morian to unleash Vertigo’s first new No. 1 work!

Zombies win, and 10 years after humanity’s extinction, zombies are the predominant living (or non-living) species on Earth. They have developed their own cultural customs, their own language, and their own society.

Mouse‑Pokes‑Golf‑Ball‑Through‑Hole‑In‑Head (“Poke” for short) is a beloved member of the community, happily roaming the only world he remembers with his brother-in-law Mush…until the day his heart mysteriously begins to beat again. And in the blink of an eye, the first humans he saw stopped being food and started looking more like…friends…?

The team behind 20th Century Man, the audacious mission statement that propelled writer Deniz Camp and artist Sttipan Molian to the next level in the comics industry, reunites to deliver a world ruled by a merciless kill-or-be-killed logic that confronts the demands of a single, beating, bleeding, emotional heart.

End of Life #1 — Release date 2/18/26

Written by: Kyle Starks Art: Steve Pugh Cover: Gerardo Parel Variant Cover: Seba Fiumara, Rafa Sandoval, Dave Johnson Connecting Variant Cover: Álvaro Martinez Bueno Foil Variant Cover: Gerardo Parel $3.99 US | 40 Pages | Variation $4.99 US (Cardstock)

Kyle Starks and Steve Pugh take on a hitman in trouble!

Professional assassin Eddie Stallion makes a huge mistake. He accidentally robs Raven, the senior boss of the international assassin group Menagerie, of which Eddie is a member…or so he was.

With a price on his shoulders, Eddie chooses to hide out in a place everyone knows he’ll never go: the small Midwestern town of Pluto, home to his estranged father, known hard man George Stallion. In his search for a safe haven, Eddie encounters an exasperated father dying of cancer, an old friend trying to collect his bounty, a Menagerie assassin who wanders into town, the creator of a canceled newspaper comic turned local crime lord, and, oh yeah, his first childhood love.

Kyle Starks and Steve Pugh, the creative team behind “Peacemaker Tryes Hard!,” tell the story of a troubled male assassin with very adult issues. As Eddie grows attached to the people of Pluto, he must step in to solve the problem the only way the killer knows how.

Perils of the Brutal Dark: The Ezra Cain Mystery #1 — Release Date 2/25/26

Written by Chris Condon with art and cover by Jacob Phillips Variant cover by Tula Lotay, Hayden Sherman, and Sean Phillips Connecting variant cover by Álvaro Martinez Bueno Foil variant cover by Jacob Phillips $3.99 US | 40 pages | Variant $4.99 US (cardstock)

Chris Condon and Jacob Phillips introduce a new noir icon!

New York City, 1941. Ezra Cain is a private investigator with a reputation for doing whatever it takes to solve cases. But his past life as an archeology student made him the only person to track down a missing artifact from a natural history museum…an ancient anvil said to contain the power of the Greek god Hephaestus. If someone could harness that power, they could bend the nation to their will.

Science fiction quickly becomes Cain’s reality when a shadowy group calling itself the Brutal Dark appears in town, wielding resources that defy human logic. Now, the only thing standing between them and the plot to overthrow America is Ezra!

Writer Chris Condon and artist Jacob Phillips, creators of the hit series That Texas Blood and Enfield Gang Massacre, introduce us to a civilian eye whose job it is to expose our deepest secrets…but along the way he’ll learn that some mysteries are better left buried!

Check out the release details for other Vertigo imprint books announced during NYCC below.

100 Bullets: Angry America by Brian Azzarello and Eduardo Risso (8 issues) — Happy 250th Anniversary, America. Rono is back. I won’t survive this year.

FANATIC, created by Grace Ellis and Hannah Templer (in progress) — she’s the ultimate fan. And she would kill to prove it.

Black Tower: The Raven Conspiracy, Created by Ram V and Mike Perkins (Regular Series) — Occult warfare has been debunked as fantasy, dead, and false…at least, that’s what they want you to think.
