If you’re looking for WLW graphic novels to add to your print library, we have good news! TOKYPOP has announced that it will publish a paper version of WLW’s popular manga “Unnie, I Like You!”.

TOKYOPOP Editor-in-Chief Lena Atanasova announced the news in an exclusive interview with The Beat, revealing that the company has partnered with Webtoon to release a full-color graphic novel version of creator Jongushi’s webcomic.

“We are excited to release the first full-color GL webcomic version of ‘Unnie, I Like You!’” said Atarasan. “This is a light-hearted, slice-of-life romance between two women who are very different from each other, yet share a past life as soul-bound lovers. We are so excited to partner with Webtoon and creator Chongushi to bring this fascinating story to print for the first time.”

Unnie, I love you! Debuting in June 2024, you can read over 60 episodes on the Webtoon app (the browser version is five updates behind). The story follows Park Chan-mi, a graduate student who remembers every painful moment in her previous life, including the untimely death of her true love, Han-byul. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about her soulmate.

Here’s the full synopsis:

Park Chan-mi clearly remembers her previous life in which she had deep feelings for the beautiful Han-byul, whose life ended too soon and tragically. Chan-mi is shocked to discover that even though her ex-lover has returned as a university professor in her current life, she doesn’t remember anything from her previous life. Fearing that history will repeat itself, Chan-mi decides to protect the one person she cares about most.

Creator Jungushi has updated “Unnie, I love you!” Every Wednesday. TOKYOPOP has not yet announced release details for the Unni print. Please look forward to future updates.
