Where Ink On Paper Studios leads, Gilmore Girls fans will likely follow. The company’s highly anticipated “Drink Coffee, Talk Fast: A Documentary About Gilmore Girls” project, co-directed by Meghna Balakumar and Kevin Konrad Hanna (Mike Mignola: Drawing Monsters), reached its Kickstarter goal in just 48 hours, raising more than $234,000 from nearly 2,000 backers as of press time.

Entering the final week of crowdfunding, Balakumar and Hanna have announced additional interviewees for the film and stretch goals for the campaign, and The Beat has all the details.

“Drink Coffee, Talk Fast: A Documentary About Gilmore Girls” coincides with the hit show’s 25th anniversary and features interviews with more than 30 cast and crew members. Delving deep into the series through commentary, criticism, and cultural analysis, we examine why Gilmore Girls transcended genres, became a fall staple for many, and continues to be talked about a quarter-century after its debut.

New interviewees announced for Drink Coffee, Talk Fast include:

Porter

Ink On Paper Studios also announced new stretch goals for Kickstarter. If the campaign reaches $245,000, a “More Drama Than a Friday Night Dinner” bumper sticker will be released for all physical reward tiers. Backers have previously unlocked the following stretch goals:
