Earlier this year, it was announced that the Artist’s edition, which will reprint original art as art, has found a new home at Skybound through the newly established Act 4 Publishing Company in Scott Dunvia. Today’s Skybound, in partnership with Scott Danvier’s 4th edition publication, announced the release of the artistic version of George Perez’s “The New Teen Titans,” available in stores in June 2026.
Needless to say, Perez’s ingenious work on the new Titan, along with author Marv Wolfman, was a game-changer across DC and the comic industry. I hope to see more artist editions of Perez comics in the future.

Continuing the multi-book agreement with DC, George Perez’s The New Teen Titans Artist’s Edition will provide a unique perspective on how Teen Titans turned out. A heartfelt introduction by Marv Wolfman, Perez’s longtime collaborator and co-creator of the new Teen Titans, headlines this stunning 12″ x 17″ hardcover edition.

The true turning points in comic book history, Marv Wolfman and George Pérez, became a huge hit on DC in 1980 when the new teenage Titan arrived on comic shop shelves.

The artist’s edition is an art book disguised as a manga collection. Although it appears to be black and white, all the art is scanned in color, allowing readers to see the work as close to the original as possible. The gradients of ink, blue pencils and all the unique nuances that make the original art so special, are all painted in the same size as clearly visible. The only better way to experience these pages is to look at the artist’s drawings, as the artist draws.
George Pérez’s The New Teen Titans Artist’s Edition is the next chapter in a groundbreaking release from Act 4 Publishing and Skybound Partnership. Previously announced releases include titles released in late 2025 (Jim Aparo’s DC Classics Artist’s Edition) and 2026 (The Amazing Spider-Man by Steve Ditko Artist’s Edition, Darwyn Cooke’s Complete Spirit Concnoisseur Edition, and Wally Wood’s Stories Artist’s Edition-Expanded-Mike Mignola Hellboy in Hell Book 2 Artise edition).
