Neon Ichiban, the new digital comics platform of former Comixology executives David Steinberger and Chip Mosher, has made several moves following their private beta debut last week. They announced that both Dynamite and Titan comics will be available on new platforms.
The public beta will arrive soon.
As the digital comic landscape intensifies, movement arises.
Titan Comics’ digital catalogue includes creator-owned essentials such as Conan the Barbarian, Doctor Who, and Blade Runner.
“Titan has worked to celebrate both pop culture’s most iconic franchises and the bold vision of groundbreaking creators,” said Will Omlaan, Titan Comics’ public relations manager. “Parting with Neon Ichiban gives you the opportunity to bring storytelling from Conan to Tank Girl.
Dynamite’s digital products similarly range from licensed licensed arrays including Supernatural, Project Superpower, Terminator, Peter Cannon, Thundercats, Red Sonja, James Bond, Army of the Darkness, Space Ghost, Disney Titles, and Vampirella.
“Dynamite has always been committed to building and delivering stories that will never forget, from redefine icons like Vampirella, Thundercats, Red Sonja, and more, to breakout hits like boys and many other iconic characters.” “By partnering with Neon Ichiban, we can expand its legacy and bring comics to fans around the world with its most innovative digital platform.”
Neon Ichiban offers early comics, comics, collections and graphic novels. However, they also feature limited edition variants and sketch covers, and remarks from some publishers, digital signatures and top creators, making these digital comics one of the kind collectibles.
Other publishers participating in Neon Ichiban at launch include Dark Horse, DC, DSTLRY, Kodansha, Marvel, Oni Press and Vault Comics.
