With the summer of Superman over, it’s time for the Dark Knight to regain the spotlight. For the past decade, DC Comics has been celebrating the hat-wearing crusades on Batman Day in September, and this year is no exception. This Saturday, September 20th, fans from around the world will gather on Batman Day in 2025 to celebrate their love for DC’s Cape Crusader, Batman. Warner Bros Studio Tour Hollywood
On Saturday, September 20th, fans can celebrate Batman Day with an immersive day experience featuring a Batman-themed studio tour beyond the Batman-themed Warner Bros. backlot. Go behind the scenes of your favorite Batman movies and take your friends and family for a fun and memorable evening of moments while watching the original costumes, cowls and Batmobiles from Warner Bros. Discovery Global Archives & Preservation Service.
Highlights of the Batman-themed tour include DC Trivia, photo shoots, rare props and outfits from the archives, as well as free copies of Batman & Robin Year from Mark Wade and Chris Samney’s acclaimed comic book team (while supplies last).

At participating cartoon stores, Batman fans visiting local comic bookstores while supplies last can choose from a selection of Batman titles that celebrate the Gotham hat-wearing Crusader and some of his most infamous enemies. Multiple new prints for Absolute Batman #1 are available to Batman Day fans. This includes Absolute Batman #1 blank sketch cover, foil variant cover and oversized (11×17) replicas, including oversized (11×17) black and white replicas of Nick Dragotta’s original art on DC WIP.
Batman & Robin’s 2019 Batman Day Edition 1 #1 (Mark Wade and Chris Samney) and Batman: 2019 #1 (Mike Barr and Alan Davis) will now be available, with DC going to publish a fax version of Batman #1 from the 1940s by Bill Finger, Bob Kane, Bob Kane and Jerry Robinson.

LEGO®Batman™: Dark Knight’s Legacy
LEGO® Batman™: Legacy of the Dark Knight is an upcoming action-adventure video game recently announced by Warner Bros. Games, offering players the opportunity to unlock Golden Ead Batsuit at launch. Based on Caped Crusader’s Devut Look from Detective Comics #27 (1939), this classic outfit will be accessible to those who are eligible to create a WB Games account and those who already have one.
LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight invites players to embark on an epic journey to become Gotham City heroes from origin to legend, inspired by the 86-year history of Batman films, television shows, comics and games. The game is set to release the Steam and Epic Games stores for PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X | S, Nintendo Switch™2, and PC in 2026. Look for more news about the game in the coming weeks!

Also, this month, check out the fun update for Warner Bros Animation’s highly anticipated Batfem Animation series to pre-make with Prime Video this fall. The series follows the events of the hit Mary Little Batman film, and focuses on young Damian Wayne, who takes on the mantle of Batman, Alfred, and Little Batman. The series will premiere later this year, but fans will be able to watch Mary Little Batman on Prime Video.

From Warner Bros. Animation, a new Batholes episode starting from September 15th to September 15th, Batmon Day Bathole Marathon, the secret origins of the Batwheel, and a special Teen Titans Go! A marathon featuring Batman.
Warner Bros Home Entertainment will be holding a digital promotion for the animated film Batman: Caped Crusader on September 16th and the animated film Aztec Batman: Clash of Empires on September 19th.
The DC Studios Showcase Podcast features a Batman Day segment, where voice actor Troy Baker speaks up with Batman about his experiences, sharing what Batman means to him, his favorite comics, how to see the dynamics between Batman and the Joker, and more. Warner Bros. Games is commemorating the 86th anniversary of Caped Crusader in DC Mobile Games with Batman-themed content and free gifts.
Industice 2 Mobile will celebrate Bat Monday from September 8th to October. Featuring a chance to win Arkham Knight Batman with the 4 Dark Knights pass. Fans can also request a free Batman Day logo profile photo in their inbox. Starting September 16th, players will be able to enjoy special Classic Batman Arena invasion events and various in-game sales. The newly launched mobile squad RPG DC Worlds Collide will present free epic Batman characters and 300 diamonds to all players logging in between September 17th and 22nd. Fans can claim these rewards through their in-game inbox during this event.

Over the next few weeks, Warner Bros Discovery Global Consumer Products (WBDGCP) will work with Spin Master, Mattel and LEGO® to promote exclusive Batman Merchandise.
Spinmaster will debut a ninja-themed action figure, including 30cm Batman and Joker Ninja figures, as well as a clear 15cm character with accessories and attacking features. Mattel & ImagineXT presents two immersive playsets. Both DCSuperFriends™Batman™Insider & Exo Suit and The Bat-Tech Batcave™ feature interactive features. DC Superpowed Storytellers -Batman Day
At Social Good Space, Warner Bros Discovery and the Boys & Girls Club of America will distribute WBD’s Story Lab Program featuring Batman and other DC heroes to encourage character development and storytelling. Developed by Discovery Education and Young Storytellers, the programming begins this September with a BatMonday-themed event at Burbank and includes classrooms, homes and online activities designed to build youth courage, creativity and critical thinking at 5,500 clubs across the country. The initiative also features nationwide distribution of Batman-inspired curriculum via the organization’s digital platform, virtual training for Boys & Girls Club staff, and incentive-based participation opportunities. By providing these dynamic resources to young professionals, the new partnership reflects a common commitment to empowering the next generation of storytellers.
