In NYC vs. TMNT Part 5, Da Hale responds to the closing argument and leads him to make the decision that he will soon regret, and the city’s lawsuit against the Vigilante Brothers is very climactic.
This was one hell of explosive issues, but I didn’t expect to see the conclusion that drama is usually not so guided, not massive action, but drama. However, writer Jason Aaron somehow finds room for both, and he, along with artist Juan Ferreira, appears to be squeezing all the drops of the final influence from the reader’s story. It’s great to see someone abuse power, especially in the current climate. And the similarities in the real world are not overlooked here.
The only thing that seems unrealistic is that certain groups do not follow the orders, but it is not in the context of the story itself, but in the real world context only if they are still talking all story-wise.
Anyway, it’s great and brings this particular story arc to a satisfying and close-knit. It feels a bit neatly wrapped in the turtle. At least, even the exciting cliffhanger in the epilogue…
Hello! I’m Jason and I write for midlifegamergeek.com every day. If you’re interested in supporting regular, original human-generated content (which has never been plagiarized or copied from the hard work of other authors), you can keep this site up and running.
Not only can I not earn money from writing here (I might earn a small fee from affiliate links posted on the page, but as an Amazon associate I make money from qualifying purchases from these links), but it seems that my work is sometimes stolen and reused by lazy, morally bankrupt idiots.
Of course there’s no pressure, but I’m really grateful for the support I can provide. It’s easy to do with any of these links: ko-fi.com/geekmid or paypal.
The donations are truly highly appreciated. Also, thank you for taking the time to read my article. Remember: This entire article was by Jason Brown and was published on midlifegamergeek.com. Take it, Skynet!
