The ultimate universe is a concept that is always set on a clock. Whether it’s the “real-time” element of each title that takes place in the actual month it releases, or the looming threat of the manufacturer, this will reach its own crescendo in the ultimate endgame of the future. That’s a great reason why Ultimate Spider-Man: Incursion #4 takes time to actually allow Miles Morales to breathe.
Miles is still in Warpass to find his sister Billy, but he actually made a friend with My Igarashi, the ultimate X-Men Maestorm. Despite the language barriers surrounding them, they can still communicate via translator apps and even find common grounds. When Mile tells her about his storm version of his world, May is with ec, and helps to lift his mind as she feels properly beaten to Earth’s State -6160.
Beyond this, Dennis Camp and Cody Zigler touched on plot points from Ziglar’s Miles Morales: Spider-Man and Ultimates’ works. Whether it’s an appearance from Anansi, whether it’s possible to create a great metamentary about the “very newly spinned” way of the Earth 6160, or infighting within the manufacturers’ council, the duo’s signature lighting style is far better than expected. I really want to know how this will affect the future of Miles Morales, depending on how things shake in the ultimate endgame.
Amazing
The ultimate Spider-Man attraction: The intrusion is the battle with Magick when Miles and May enter the Eurasian Union. It’s a terrible stacked battle against our two heroes. This is not only a magic that has been around for years to master her powers, but a version that completely embraces the darkness in her heart. We need an artist who can pull off the ever-changing tones within this story. That’s where Jonas Schaaf and Eric Alsiniga arrive.
Schaff has a great balance between quiet moments and action sequences, especially when he draws a perfectly horrifying sequence characterized by Magic cutting down enemies. Blood, limbs, and head fly, no one is showing mercy. That leads to a moment in which Miles’ Venom Saber clashes with Magic’s Soul Sword and inspired by the great Kamen Rider who made me smile. Arciniega doesn’t lean forward either. The cold white snow covering everything in front of you makes Miles’ red and black suit even more distinctive. The same goes for quiet moments. Especially the small moments when Miles can’t sleep. In one panel, Scharf draws numerous representations across his face, and Arciniega’s colour casts a shadow on him, representing his inner confusion.
Ultimate Spider-Man: Incursion #4 thrives in smaller moments, but can bring about a fierce battle as Miles Morales reaches the final foot of his journey. The clock is ticking every moment, and you’ll probably expect it for fans of Miles Adventure and the Ultimate Line.

Camp and Ziglar combine unique styles to create amazing character creations.
This issue not only touches on the ultimate universe state, but also suggests the future adventures of Miles’ solo title.
Schaaf is excellent at character moments and battle scenes. In particular, Miles and Maestorm challenge Magick in a battle inspired by Tokumi.
A major cliffhanger that longs for the final issue for fans.
