This December, Marvel’s Ultimate Universe is facing the most important moments in Ultimate Endgame. This is a showdown where you can decide whether the line has a future at all.
The fifth issue event, written by Ultimates author Deniz Camp with art and writing by Jonas Scharf and Terry Dodson, shows that the entire Ultimate Line has been united for the first time in one story. Rotating directly from Jonathan Hickman’s ultimate invasion, it brings the ultimate universe architect, Maker, for his final clash with the hero who dared to rebuild the world he once ruled.
December also offers the ultimate universe. In the #1 of two years, the final chapter of the landmark run-mark run by Hickman and Marco Chet in the Ultimate Spider-Man will be played in the Ultimate Spider-Man. New issues with Ultimates, Ultimate Black Panther, Ultimate Wolverine, and Ultimate X-Men set the stage for conflict across this line.
To celebrate, Ultimate Endgame #1 will be released in Marvel’s first true follower blind bag. A sealed pack containing one of several variant covers, including rare secret covers hidden until fans discover them. This is a fresh twist for collectors and a new way for comic shops to inspire excitement at events that will shake up the industry.
