It’s not certain which materials will be included in the collection, but Main Britopia Arc ran intermittently between 2000 and 2020 and 2022. Various elements and characters will appear in PRO back in 2016.
Created in 1995 by Dan Abnett and David Milgate, the 2000 ad crime series is loosely inspired by the characters of Samuel L. Jackson and John Travolta in the pulp fiction of the 1994 Quentin Tarantino film about two hitmen (“Gun Sharks”) in a future European city called Download. In short, the series, published in a sporadic explosion over the years, has attracted cult support for “Wry comedy, scifi, a mix of crime and behavior, as well as its own (somewhat complicated) continuity.
While being released and co-created with artist David Milgate, Sinister Dexter had a roster of very impressive artists, including Greg Staples, Fraser Irving, Henry Flint, Clint Langley, Simon Davis, Sean Phillips, Andy Clark (you can move on). Buletopia features works by Steve Yowell and Tazio Bettin, with a cover of Luke Place.
After the acquisition of AD in 2000, Rebellion began publishing four collections of the series’ early arcs before canceling the initiative in 2009. The recently completed 200 volumes of Hachette Partworks Series 2000 AD Ultimate Collection has put together many of the previous series over seven volumes between 2018 and 2023, but they are also difficult to get.
