Predator: Badlands is the latest entry in the legendary sci-fi horror franchise that began in 1987 with John McTiernan’s Predator. Dantlantenberg held. The Badlands starring Elfanning and Dimitrius Schuster Koroa Matangi, and will be set on a remote planet in the future. There, Dek, the young Yautja exile of his clan, finds an unlikely alliance in Tia, Weyland-Yutani Synthetic, and embarks on a mysterious journey in search of the final by-edition.

That same month, Marvel Comics publishes Predator: Badlands #1, a tie-in comic by author Ethan Sachs, known for his work in various Star Wars titles by Marvel. ART obligations will be handled by Elvin Ching, a recent participant in the Marvel’s Art Atelier program. It will be held just before the film “Predator: Badlands #1.” Introducing readers to the film’s bold new approach to storytelling in the Predator franchise, Dek and other important characters.

In this one-shot, the young Yautja Warrior is given a seemingly simple task by his father. But inside, the ancient deadly threat is in the waiting position, and Deku must either rise to the challenge or face dramatic consequences.

Sack said about the work of the book:

For a writer who grew up with a lifelong fan of the Predator franchise, there is no greater game than a chance to hunt with Yautya. We worked with the filmmakers behind Predator: Badlands to make sure this prequel story fits into a puzzle-like cinematic saga. Fans give a deeper, more enriching experience, especially when they can turn to Elvin Chin’s art.

Meanwhile, Trachtenberg was able to say this.

Badlands is the first predator film to draw so deeply inspiration from a comic book. So it’s a joy to see the splash page from the hearts of Ethan and Elvin, a formative adventure for our characters who will serve as the perfect companions in the film right now. Deku kicks his ass with his own comic book, which means his dream comes true.

The cover of the one-shot is explained by the gorgeous Juan Ferreira. This book is now available for pre-order from local comic shops that will depart for the store on November 12th, 2025.
