Marvel announced today at the theater on November 7th that the upcoming film Predator: Badlands has obtained the comic book prequel in the form of Predator.
“For a writer who grew up with a lifelong fan of the ‘predator’ franchise, there’s no bigger game than a chance to hunt in Yautsya,” Sachs shared. We worked with the filmmakers behind “Predator: Badlands” to make sure this first part of the story fits into a puzzle-like cinematic story. In particular, it offers a deeper, more enriching experience.
Predator: Badlands The Movie will be released on November 7th and starring Elle Fanning and Dimitrius Schuster-Kolomatangi.
Predator: Badlands #1 is written by Ethan Sachs as Art by Erwin Chin, and cover art by Oren Jr. ink and Juan Ferreira. It will be released on November 12th, 2025.

New York, New York – August 21, 2025 – “Predator: Badlands” will arrive at theaters on November 7th, with a thrilling new entry from the “Predator” movie franchise. That same month, Marvel Comics is known for Predator: Badlands #1, a tie comic by author Ethan Sack, and Deven of Art and Art. Recent participants in the Marvel’s Art Atelier program. The One-Shot, the official prelude of the highly anticipated film, is produced in a close collaboration with director Dan Trachtenberg, who writes the preface to this issue.
“Predator: Badlands,” starring Elle Fanning and Dimitrius Schuster Koromatangi, will not be on a preaching journey in the future when Deku, the young predator of his clan, finds an unlikely ally in Chia and finds his ultimate neighbor. The “Predator: Badlands” comic, which takes place just before these events, explores the film’s bold new approach to “Predator” franchise storytelling, introducing readers to Dek and other important characters.
The hunt begins.
In one shot, the young Yautja Warrior is given a seemingly simple task by his father. But inside, the ancient deadly threat lies in waiting.
