Bablet & Singelin’s Shin Zero will be released on Kickstarter

Magnetic Press and French Design Studio Label 619 has announced the launch of a new collaboration that is expected to be a hit on Kickstarter next week. Shin Zero is a graphic novel by award-winning creators Mathieu Bablet (Shangri-La, Carbon & Silicon) and Guillaume Singelin (Frontier, PTSD).

Here’s the complete overview:

Twenty years after the final Kaiju was defeated, Sentai’s legacy survives, but only in the fluorescent jacket and side hustle. Warren, Nikki, Herois, Satoshi and Sofia were once ready to save the world. Today they share a flat of convulsions and a fallout of their declining mythology.

But something stirs up in the ruins of this privatized paradise. When the line between nostalgia and nightmare begins to blur, these worn-out warriors must ask the questions they have long tried to ignore: Is legend worthy of resurrection, or is it still more than dying?

The beat can reveal the exclusive first look of Sin Zero’s art shown below.

Multiple editions of Shin Zero are available from the Kickstarter campaign.

Backers can choose the digital version. 6.5″ x 9″ softcover retail edition with 128GSM wood-free interior stock, French flaps and card stock covers in spot velve metallic foil stamps. Limited edition exclusive hardcover bound to a 3mm board with metallic silver elements and curved corners. Or an edition of a deluxe slipcase with “Kaiju skin texture” and foil stamp slipcase with hardcover, a book plate with foil stamps and numbered, and an exclusive Metal Centi Corporation lapel pin.

Additional rewards will be revealed once the campaign is launched.

In the meantime, interested readers can pre-register for the campaign and notify you when it is released. Pre-registration people will receive a $3 shipping credit with a physical Kickstarter pledge and bonus posters using the art shown below.

Pre-register for the Shin Zero campaign via Magnetic Press and look forward to it as it is released.
