This fall releases author Dennis Camp (20th century men, ultimate, absolute Mars manhunter), artist Eric Zawaziki (El El’s house), colorist Geordy Berele (they are not like us, birds of prey), and letterer Hasser Ottomane Elhau (they’s events before time, events from poisonous substances). Issue 5 was released on July 29th.
“I am very proud of this job and the way every member of our creative team can promote and interact with each other,” Camp said. “It’s really special and I still feel the best.”
The new arc throws readers straight into the mess. Is you or the person you love experiencing a temporal reduction in retro anterograde? In various crisis events, time is not based on rules. Ordinary people face broken timelines, loop days, space portals, selfish travelers of various eras, and different versions of themselves while walking down all the streets.
“The work that Dennis, Geordy and Hass do is magic for me,” Zawaziki said. “This manga is so fulfilling and I hope I can continue doing it for many years.”
With high-concept sci-fi combined with deep human moments, the series continues to solve the mystery of why time itself has broken and whether it can return to normal. Fans of Infinite Earth, Black Mirror, and Doctor Who Crisis will find plenty to love.
“I’ve never felt more alive and I’m an absolute joy to read and create,” added Bellaire.
Assorted Crisis Events #6 features Cover A by Zawadzki (Lunar Code 0925IM0287) and Cover B of Marcos Martín (Lunar Code 0925IM0288). The volumes collected initially can be used wherever the comics are sold.
