Skybound Entertainment and Image Comics has released the first official trailer for Skin Breaker, the upcoming epic of Chinics Powerhouses Robert Kirkman (Invincible, The Walking Dead) and David Finch (Batman, New Avengers). The 8th issue series will be released on September 24th, 2025.

The trailer introduces the artwork that defines Finch’s career, first watch the story of a high stakes fantasy, and presents ancient threats that can spell out the end of a whole person, a desperate battle for survival, a choice that will change everything, and the end of the whole people.

At the heart of the story is Enor, the seasoned prime minister, whose reign is approaching the end. He swings around the legendary weapon known as the Skinbreaker, but his age makes him too long to wield it. With their world on the verge of collapse, his passive heir, Anok, must decide whether to infiltrate leadership.

SkinBreaker #1 features a stacked cover lineup led by Finch’s main cover and portrait variants. The incentive variations come from Ryan Ottley, Lorenzo de Felici, Eric Kanete and Tony Moore. Additionally, ultra-rare collectibles such as the 1:1000 CGC were signed from a 1:1000 CGC cover, a die-cut foil mask cover and an original 1:2500 Finch Art Sketch cover, which were signed by both Finch and Kirkman.

Fans can also experience their debut in Grand Style in an oversized 10-inch x 14-inch format printed on the Skin Breaker #1 Treasury Edition (Deluxe Newsprint).

Skin Breaker #1 (8) will be available on September 24, 2025 on comic shops and digital platforms such as Amazon Kindle, Apple Books and Google Play for $4.99.
