Kieron Gillen and Stephanie Hans are known as the bestselling creative team behind Vehind We, and will return to a dark RPG-inspired world with Die: Loaded this November. The new story arc brings fans back to the three-time Hugo Award-nominated Image Comics series, which won the British Fantasy Award for another round of fantasy, horror and heartbreak.

The comic will be launched with the Die RPG QuickStart game guide by Gillen and Hans. This standalone, budget-friendly release packs all the packs you need to play Origin’s award-winning Die RPG, including rules, pre-generated characters, and multi-session scenarios.

“Die was created by us to talk about fantasy and reality as long as we have a story to tell,” Gillen said. “We do and die. What’s loaded loads us share, please, move, and horrifying you. Plus, it’s important to give others the opportunity to tell stories.

Set one year after the finale of Die #20, and when players gather for Chuck’s wake, they are loaded, believing they left the game. But the game doesn’t leave them. Tell the solicitation, “Prepare for the initiative.” “Who’s going to die this time?”

“As an artist, it’s such a unique joy to be back, expanding the universe where we have so loved,” Hans added. “Die is a constantly expanding work of art, and I have the privilege of shaping it with Kieron.”

Since its debut in 2019, Die has been an Image Comics sales powerhouse, often surpassing the charts, selling out at the distributor level, and spurring a wave of RPG-infused storytelling. Described by fans as “Gosjumanji,” the series has cultivated dedicated supporters. Buzz built the Buzz again after a new die.

Dai: Loaded #1 will hit the comic shop on Wednesday, November 12th.

This issue will be available digitally via Amazon Kindle, Apple Books and Google Play.
