Courtesy of Dark Horse Comics, The Beat is able to reveal that publishers will release a print version of Dan Schkade’s hit webtoon series Lavender Jack next year. Written, drawn and drawn by Schkade, with Jen Manly Lee’s colours and logo designs by Dylan Todd, Lavender Jack is the story of a retro vigilante group that took place in 2026, running from 2018 to 2022.

The Gallery town is a place of science, diversity and wealth at the dawn of the 20th century. But deep inside is the corrupt ruling class, narrowing down cities for their value. Input: Lavender Jack – A demonic vigilante whose combat power and advanced technology weapons are nightmares for elites in the gallery. The string puller is not trying to loosen the grip in this fair city without a fight. They have their own demons! Collect season 1 (3) of the Webtoon series (episodes 1-48).
Schkade said in a statement: “We’ve lost some people who asked if there was a printed version of Lavender Jack. For you to see it.”
The book marks the second project in Sukadet’s Dark Horse, following the 2023 modern superhero series St. John. We continue to have an ongoing partnership between Dark Horse and Webtoon. He announced earlier this year that he would bring some dark horse titles to the platform. Early editors and Webtoon editorials were provided in the book by Bekah Caden and Bre Boswell, respectively.
Lavender Jack Vol. 1 will be released in a paperback bookstore on March 3, 2026, and the comic shop will be released the following day. It will be on sale for $29.99 on 330 pages. Pre-order from Amazon, Barnes and Noble, or from your local bookstore or comic shop. Visit ComicShop Locator or BookShop.org. In the meantime, you can look at the original version of the comic on Webtoon and read the revival of Schkade’s current project, Flash Gordon, in Comics Kingdom.
