Cartoon lovers, mark your calendar. Kodansha House hopes to see SoHo highly anticipated this fall for an even more vast and immersive fan experience. The pop-up, which will be held at 210 Lafayette Street from October 4th to 19th, will be open Tuesday through Sunday from 12pm to 9pm, and promises to be the ultimate celebration of the comics and community.
Hosted by Kodansha, Japan’s largest publisher, Kodansha House 2025, a creative powerhouse behind iconic titles such as Akira, Sailor Moon, Attack of Titan, and Blue Rock, offers more of what fans loved last year. This year’s article expands with exhibition spaces, interactive installations, hands-on workshops and special events ranging from date nights to film screenings.

Whether you’re a longtime nerd or accustomed to manga culture, Kodansha House offers something for everyone. Visitors can explore immersive exhibits inspired by hit series like Ghost in the Shell, Attack, Titan and Blue Rock.
With a major highlight of the up-and-coming artist, Kodansha Mochikomi Fresh Inc. 2025 offers an unusual opportunity to sit down with Japanese Kodansha editors in a 1:1 portfolio review. Submissions will be open to aspiring creators planning to participate in the event, and submissions will be open from August 1st to August 10th from 11pm. Selected finalists will receive personalized feedback from some of the industry’s most respected editorial voices to the right within Kodansha House.
This year’s program includes a diverse lineup of exhibits, a creator-focused installation, and Q&A sessions with three major cartoon artists. These rare US appearances include live signatures, giving fans a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet the mind behind their favorite stories.
