Following the success of Fantastic Four: Full Circle, Abrams Comicarts is set to continue the Marvelarts line with a bold new entry. Avengers In The Veracacity Trap, an original graphic novel written by Michael Cho’s Art With Art. Today, AIPT is excited to debut an exclusive look at Cho’s behind the scenes process featuring early thumbnails, pencils and ink, making it a visually stunning tribute to classic Marvel storytelling.

In the Trap of Truth, the Avengers face off against Loki in what begins as a classic clash of good and evil, but soon twists into something much more strange. When Loki unleashes Asgard’s huge army with an unspeakable weapon of power, Earth’s most powerful heroes, Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, Giant Man, and a hornet, are forced into battle. But once the dust settles, they reveal a frightening truth that shatters real understanding. This time, Loki is not the only enemy, but the truth itself.

“Writing this book was a real excuse to see Michael Cho portray these iconic characters and illustrious, epic, amazing successive storytelling,” Kidd said. “He’s more than delivering.”

Cho’s art guides the incredible endless energy of the Silver Age, which infused the accuracy and charm of his signature. “I’ve always had a special place in my love for my superheroes for the Avengers,” Cho said. “Chip wrote fantastical and heartfelt stories, and I did my best to guide cracked joy and wonder from those classic cartoons.”

Take a look at Cho’s creative process, from rough thumbnails to beautifully inked final pages as the Avengers of Truth prepare a leap into Marvel Art’s legacy.
