At San Diego Comic-Con over the weekend, fans first saw an impressive new cover of Fiona Staples from Saga Book Four, the latest award-winning hardcover version by Brian K. Vaughn and Fiona Staples. This much-anticipated collection will arrive at the comic shop on April 15th, 2026, and from Image Comics on April 28th.
The cover captures the rebellious energy of teenage protagonist Hazel, and navigates puberty in the middle of a now-ending interplanetary war. “For over a decade, readers have seen Hazel grow in real time,” Vaughn said. “Fiona’s latest cover perfectly reflects our culturally torn adolescent heroine. This volume is my favorite.”
Book Four collects Issues #55–72 including ARC who won Saga for the second Hugo Award. The Deluxe Edition features exclusive bonus content, including unprecedented artwork from fan favorite creators, handpicked by Staples and Vaughan. It marks a major turning point in Hazel’s life as she and her family discover that they set out on an emotional journey after suffering catastrophic losses.
Saga blends science fiction, fantasy, romance and political all-tales to tell the epic love story of Alana and Marco, opposing world soldiers who secretly raise their daughter Hazel. The series sells nearly 10 million copies worldwide, translated into 20 languages, and has won numerous awards including multiple Eisners, Hugo, and A British Fantasy Awards. He also appears in pop culture through ads for the Simpsons, Supernatural and even Taco Bell.
