You’ll have a new playmate that King of the Monsters will destroy, so move over the destruction. On Friday’s “Godzilla of 70: 70 Years of Monsters of 70,” during the 2025 San Diego Comics Con artist panel, IDW’s Jake Williams announced the upcoming crossover series between Godzilla and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, which was released this November. The series is written by Tim Seeley and depicted by Fero PE.

A cover of the new crossover series announced at SDCC ’25 on July 25th, 2025.

Williams also promoted the October release covering the Kai Say Universe and the Ion Dragon’s design process, featuring Chris Gooch/Oliver Ono titles, Starship Godzilla, Godzilla: Ethan Parker, Griffin Sheridan and Pablo Tunica’s Dead Zone Escape.

He joined him on stage were panelists Brian Flynn (Super7), Hector Ark (Senior Director of Creative and Product Development, Mondo), Peter Santa Maria (Senior Creative Director of Mondo) and Jeff Gordon (Director of Franchise and Retail Brand Development). Together, they spoke at length about the exclusive lines of Ichibansho and Desdia models available at the Bandai booth during the show.

Rapper’s Drew Taylor eases the panel (from left to right) including Brian Flynn, Hector Ark, Peter Santa Maria, Jeff Gordon, Brian Butcherato, Jake Williams, Sean Conrad and Jinji Higuchi.

Additionally, Flynn highlighted a special pop-up at the Super 7 store. This transformed into a replica of Godzilla (2014) train attack scene.

Afterwards, Shin Godzilla Director Higuchi joined the panelists to discuss the creative design and 4K remaster of his smash hit.

To conclude the event, O’Shea Jackson made a surprise appearance to ask panelists about their favorite Godzilla movies, Higuchi cited the 1973 Cult Classic Godzilla vs. Megalon as his favorite. In the end, it was thrown between Shin Godzilla, Godzilla vs. Megalon, and King Kong vs. Godzilla.

Keep an eye out for more coverage from SDCC ’25.
