Marvel’s ultimate universe continues to grow…but what’s next? On Saturday, at San Diego Comics-2025, creators such as Marvel Comics Editor-in-Chief CB Severski, Ultimate Editor-in-Chief Editor-in-Chief Wilmos, Jonathan Hickman, Dennis Camp and Chris Condon headlined the “Marvel Comics: The Ultimate Universe” panel.
Ultimate Endgame #1, which debuted in December, will launch the 5th limited series by Deniz Camp, Jonas Scharf and others. The maker is ready to return after two years of real-time and in space, and stand up to the heroes who have liberated the world they once ruled completely.

“It’s the craziest and most impactful crossover (I’m working on it),” Camp said. “I’m really excited about it. It’s all the characters. It’s a solution to the resolution of the long plot threads that everyone has come together at this size. It’s a very big, very dramatic universe that can change the world. Surprisingly, this is the culmination of so many of the things we’ve been doing together.”
Meanwhile, the Ultimate Spider-Man event will attack the shelves in December, ending with No. 24. Marvel warns fans “should prepare for an astonishing finale” with dramatic turns of every character in Peter Parker’s orbit.

“This was everything I pitched,” Hickman said. “Nothing has deviated. It’s really good to carry out the plan well. Everything leads to this issue. The ultimate universe fans will love it. It was a real joy to be the ultimate Spider-Man writer.” He said, “This little line of doing this close continuity thing… it’s great to do from the company on this, and it’s what we’re trying to do. Everyone who supports this book is the only reason they can do this.
