Dark Horse Comics has announced a new all-age miniseries, Star Wars: Hyperspace Stories: The Bad Batch – Rogue Agents, which begins this December. Resiumming writer Michael Moresi and artist Reese Honeygan (who previously worked together on Ghost Agent, a previous series bad batch) take readers to missions in which a group of clone troopers was revised during the Clone Wars.

When a separatist scientist and his dangerous invention disappear during the Clone Wars, Clone Force 99 is sent to track him down and prevent the device from falling into the wrong hand. However, when Hunter, Tow, Crosswear and Tech arrive at the abandoned lab of scientists, they quickly realize that they are not the only one on his trail and that this mission is different from what they have faced before!
Moreci and Hannigan will be reunited with comics from Inker Elisabetta D’A Mico, colorist Michael Atier and Letterer, who are also working on Ghost agents. Issue #1 (4) was released on December 17th, 2025, with variations from Valeria Favoccia’s main cover, Hannigan and Riley Rossmo. In the meantime, the Ghost Agent trade paperback will be released on November 18th, with the library version of Dark Horse’s first Hyperspace Story Series (including several stories by Moreci) arriving on October 21st.
Earlier this week, speaking of the animated Star Wars series, Lucasfilm held an exhibition at San Diego Comic-Con marking the 20-year Lucasfilm animation. This includes the first stills of the next animated Disney+ series, Mall-Shadow Road and the newly shaved Ezra Bridger (Emans Fundy) from Asoka Season 2. Both projects will be released on streaming services over the next year. You can check both images on the official Star Wars website.
