Kodansha has come to San Diego Comic-Con and brings some of its most popular properties and new books with them!

Manga’s publisher has revealed plans for SDCC ’25 to host a mini gallery featuring creators such as Masamune Shirow (The Ghost in the Shell), Tetsuya Chiba (Ashita no Joe), and Saka Mikami (Fragrant flowers bloom with dignity). Their booth (#5542) also features manga pre-sale, exclusive gifts and products, and prizes.

Eyesner nomination from 2025 Kodansha

This year, Kodansha is excited to host a legendary and culturally relevant comic series with the famous Will Eisner Comics Industry Award running. Starting on Friday, July 25th, 2025 at 8pm on PDT at the Indigo Ballroom at Hilton San Diego Bayfront, fans and experts will have the opportunity to participate in the event as long as they have a Comic-Con international badge.
