Time to fill another line with that distributor scorecard: Dynamite is moving along with Simon & Schuster for Bookstore distribution. They used to have a diamond book, but it no longer existed.

As PR notes, this will allow dynamite to “encourage more brand awareness than ever, just as it is expanding its line with more prose, children, education books and educational books.

“Dynamite Entertainment is one of the most dynamic publishers of comics and graphic novels and is excited to welcome the families of our client publishers.” “We look forward to working with them to expand their incredible list reach into the world-wide book market.”

“We recently celebrated 20 years of publication in Dynamite. The industry poses unique challenges from time to time, but such moments can also serve great opportunities.” “The partnership with Simon & Schuster is exciting and important to our business, and it is important to our business to ensure that our books continue to be available as many as possible, with deep titles like Boys, Redsonja, Vampirella, Project Superpower, James Bond, Disney (Dachshund, Lilo & Stephen’s Tim Burton’s Disney Timbrunn). (Thundercats, The Wizard of Oz, PowerPuff Girls), and many others, including Paw Patrol, Blue’s, Nickelodeon’s Paw Patrol, Blue’s New items will be announced as they are expanding their children’s titles such as Clues & You!, USPS’ Mr. Zip. Simon & Schuster offers slates of services to publishing and retail partners through infrastructure, sales, distribution, etc. For dynamite, they serve “book markets” within the comic book industry, including Barnes & Noble, Books-A-Million, Treasecured Independent Bookstores, Library Systems, and other online retailers who sell non-common specialty brick and mortar, or physical books, and mass market retailers such as Amazon.

S&S is home to many comic publishers, including Image, Oni, and Viz. Dynamite is available in comic shops via Lunar Distribution, Universal Distribution and Diamond UK.
