You read it correctly and GlobalComix is printed! After all, being the main force of digital comics isn’t enough for GlobalComix. Now they’re getting their prints in a new partnership with Comix Wellspring. This strategic partnership launches creator-first global print-on-demand solution that bridges the gap between digital reach and physical publishing.

GlobalComix, the leading platform for Digital Comics Distribution, and Comix Wellspring, one of North America’s most trusted comic book printers, are working together to introduce GlobalComix Print. As the service begins and expands globally in the US, creators and publishers will provide the ability to sell professionally printed copies directly to fans without dealing with inventory, logistics headaches, or costly minimum printing runs. By enabling independent creators and publishers to sell printed comics around the world, GlobalComicix puts more control and opportunity directly in the hands of artists.

“This is what creators want,” said Will Graves, director of content at GlobalComix. “How to put cartoons on demand and into the hands of fans without hustling. But this is more than just a feature. It’s a statement about where the industry is heading, how creators are leading the way, and provides a simple solution for selling internationally to publishers around the world.”

This partnership offers several unique benefits specializing in the comic book community. Fast turnaround time, high print quality, no stock requirements, complete control of price and branding. Creators can sell their works via GlobalComix storefronts or direct links shared on social media, providing unprecedented flexibility.

“We’ve printed over a million books for indie creators,” said Tim Webster, Chief Revenue Officer at Comix Wellspring. “This partnership isn’t just about adding print buttons. It’s about giving creators a platform where their work, brands and audiences can all connect. That’s when the world of print catches up with the passion and innovation that is already thriving in digital comics.”

Unlike typical printing services, Comix Wellspring is printed in-house to ensure consistent, professional results exclusively for comic books. This collaboration is based on a shared vision. Create a scalable and author-driven infrastructure that maintains control and profits in the artist’s hands.

The print-on-demand service was launched in August 2025 with a selection group of selected groups and publishers, with a wider rollout planned for the fourth quarter of 2025.

“We’re building a system that removes gatekeepers, empowers creators and makes it easier than ever to collect and support the comics they love,” Graves added. “This is about putting real-world income into the hands of storytellers around the world. One book at a time.”

To celebrate the launch, Comix Wellspring offers a 10% site-wide discount on all book print orders until the end of August 2025. Creators can use code GlobalC10 to take advantage of this limited time promotion to make their projects come true with significant savings. Check it out here.
